Come along for a fun packed weekend or even day trip to the beautiful Double Island Point Region
Camping on the beach front, with trips on Saturady & Sunday up to the calm side of the point for paddleboarding, kayaking, jet ski, fishing and also some swimming....
Don't forget the end of day happy hour where we all get together and tell our tall stories of how good we could do all the activities.
We will be going up on the Friday afternoon
Tides:
The tides work well for going up Friday afternoon or Saturday / Sunday mornings with high tides in the middle of the day.
Vehicle Costs: beach access permit required
Noosa North Shore Ferry one way fares (cash only) - Standard 4WD $7, Standard 4WD with caravan / trailer up to 4.75m $14 and standard 4WD with caravan / trailer up to 7.75m $16.
QPWS Camping permit $6.55 per person per night, or $26.20 per family per night;
We plan to camp at the far end closest to Freshwater where hot showers ($2 coins for 4 mins) and toilets will be available if you do not have a chemical toilet.
Fires:
Unsure if we can have fires, due to the current conditions... Will update as gets closer....
