Queensland 4x4 Club

Enjoy, Don't Destroy

Queensland 4x4 Club was established in 1971 and is based on the north side of Brisbane. We are affiliated with the State Association [Four Wheel Drive 4WD front
Queensland] and support and abide by their Code of Ethics.

The club conducts family-oriented social activities, four-wheel-drive day trips, and camping weekends within the South East Queensland region.

Our members are also known to conduct occasional touring trips throughout the inland and coastal areas of Australia whenever the opportunity arises.

We are a family-oriented club with over 50 family members with vehicles of all makes and models. We encourage your family to come along with us to enjoy our natural environment.

As part of Four Wheel Drive Queensland each year we have members who attend the Fraser Island Cleanup. From a club member initiative in early 2017, our club has now adopted the policy to clean up any rubbish we see on each trip, so it is not unusual for our members to stop and fill up a garbage bag of rubbish to take with them and dispose of at home.

Over the 2019 October long weekend, the Queensland 4x4 Club hosted the 4WD Association annual Corroboree at Blackbutt (110km northwest of Brisbane). The club members spent a year mapping tracks, seeking sponsorship, and preparing for the event. With a total of 56 drives over 12 tracks, the Association Country Meeting, Live Entertainment, Raffles, and Lucky Door Prizes it was a full weekend enjoyed by all. The money raised from the event was donated to the Drought Angels, Mates4Mates, and various organisations within the Blackbutt community.

2021 was a year to celebrate - our 50-year anniversary! The anniversary subcommittee did a great job of organising a special dinner to celebrate this momentous occasion. You can read more about it here.

The Queensland 4x4 Club meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Friday of each month with the new time of 7:00 pm.
